UPDATE (1/8/2012): Yet again, the increasingly brutal Bahraini regime wants to get it's trophy F1 race back. This is the regimes attempt to mask the true happenings in Bahrain with a second attempt at a international distraction. The F1 race was canceled in June of 2011 as teams & drivers took a moral stand & declined to participate if event were to be held...
It is now time for the drivers and teams of F1 that value human rights to protest & boycott again. The crackdowns have continued & have varied little since the cancellation of the Bahrain GP. As nothing in the way of human rights have changed, the boycott shouldn't either. F1 should not be used as a monument to the destruction of dissent.
It is upon the collective will of the internets to present the drivers and their teams with the truth about Bahrain - and what the F1 race means to the al-Kahlifas.
….We AGAIN call on Formula 1 drivers to boycott the Bahrain Grand Prix......F1 STILL isn't a trophy for oppressive regimes to display once they crush dissent...
(HERE IS CONTACT INFORMATION FOR F1 TEAMS & DRIVERS TO PROTEST, assumed to be accurate after 6 months)
